Spring Style Guide 2020

Finally, a practical style guide for us twenty something year old girls that’s practical for both our lifestyle and our budget! (Cue the applause 👏🏽) Lots and lots of stores are doing online deals and free shipping right now too so now is truly the time to get shopping for some spring gear at the comfort of our own home!

There are a few staple new things that are in for the warmer, bi polar climate ahead. Some of which being tie dye. You heard that right! I think tie dye coming back in this season is such a fun move and I can’t wait to wear more of it this spring.

Some white sneakers are also huge this year. I’m very passionate about my sneakers lol and I definitely do believe every girl needs a good to to pair of white sneakers-especially in the spring or summer.

One of the Pantone colors of the year are olive, so naturally I had to choose my favorite cargo joggers. I love olive because it’s so easy to wear, I basically treat it as a neutral. These are both amazing quality and affordable too.

I loooove me a good boyfriend tee, and these new ones from Walmart are so cheap and amazing! These are a must grab for spring, because they’re so easy to layer with yet cute if it’s warm enough to go jacket free for a day or two. (Notice how I said a day or two because who knows how warm and rainless an Ohio spring will be lol) I always like to size up in a boyfriend tee to enhance the laxed fit too.

If you’re looking to dress things up for a night out or graduation or wedding events or just because, smocked tops and dresses are perfect for this, and they’re all over the racks right now too. I love smocked styles, because I feel like they’re so feminine and flattering for a lot of girls body types.

Another big thing are bramis -which are a mix between a bra (or bralette) and a cami. They’re these super comfortable, laid back cropped tanks that are so easy to dress up or dress down and again, another easy layering piece if need be. This is another piece I’m so excited to start wearing this spring.

One of my personal favorite pieces of clothing, cropped hoodies👌🏽 I truly love when I can wear a hoodie and if I could wear them anywhere and everywhere, I could. I know when the cropped style came out years ago I was like ‘ok ya but what’s the point) but they’re actually perfect for transitional climates, cooler nights, etc.

Along with hoodies, this hoodie lover loves the spring and the fall becausehoodie dresses are in🎉🎉🎉 I love hoodie dresses because they’re so easy. You can easily dress them up, dress them down, and wear them everywhere. My favorite way to style them is with a baseball cap and plastic birks or sneakers.
