Transitional Fall Fashion

While the heat and humidity will be calming down (hopefully) soon, it’s so exciting we’re getting closer to spooky season, but outfit choosing can get kinda confusing with the warm but cool temps.

Here are some of my go to items for the transitional fall season:

You can style flannels so many different ways than just a normal top. A way to introduce them is by adding them along with you but more so as an accessory rather than to keep you warm.

Chambray Tops

Chambray is such a great in between fashion piece. Not as thick as bulky denim, but not too thin that you’re cold on cooler nights. Another easy top to tag along with.

Lightweight knits

Although we may not be thinking of the chunky oversized sweaters just yet, we can start getting warmed up into them with the lighter, wider knit pieces.

Floral Dresses

Floral is such a staple year round in my opinion, but especially spring and fall. Adding some tights and boots on cooler days makes you Fall AF friendly too.

Midi Dresses

Midis are still growing in my wardrobe personally, but they’re a great fit for the warmer fall temps. They’re not super short but showing the lower half of your leg and paired with a jacket over top if need be makes for the perfect September outfit! It’s of the time midis are made with the thicker cotton and/ or ribbed material too which gives a more cozy vibe.

Jumpsuits aka rompers with pants are perfect at this time of year. They’re not too bulky, but having the legs covered keeps you from getting cold or looking outfit confused.

Snake + Tortoise Prints

Snake and tortoise prints in late summer/ early fall shows you’re fashion forward, and these neutral prints keep your outfit still casual but with a little pop without standing out too much. The perfect accessory pops for sure!
